We Get Fan Mail!

This came to us via Live chat today.

Chris: Hi there, this is Chris from Colleen’s office… How can I help you today?
Visitor: Well Chris I’m more or less here to provide comment on Stand Up and Stand Out! 12 Ways to Get Your Prospects to Call You Back…
Chris: OK!
Visitor: I was searching online today and found the article, and used number 5 “ask if you’re OK”
Visitor: I used it on two prospects who I haven’t been able to reach for weeks. AND IT WORKED AWESOME!
Chris: That’s fantastic. That is great to hear!
Visitor: Within 10 minutes I got a response from the first client and I just got a call back from the second client both apologized for being swamped
Visitor: it worked perfectly, almost magical.
Visitor: that’s all, I had to let someone on that side know.

What are you implementing?

  1. Hi there! Just wanted to share my story about the “Stand Up and Stand Out! 12 Ways to Get Your Prospects to Call You Back”

Long story short: I reached out (cold called) to a prospect in Jan 2013 to find out if they could benefit from the products and services we offer. I have been calling, E-mailing, etc and finally got an appointment in March 2013 at their location. The meeting was successful and lasted about 2 hours, and I learned a lot about the prospect’s needs and concerns.

We were able to design a solution for them that fit their needs and addressed their “pains”. We sent off the proposal in late March. Since then, I have been following up with them via phone, E-mail, etc and haven’t heard back. Since this was a “cold call” in the beginning, I wanted to make sure that my hard work and efforts would pay off, at the very minimum, with some type of response to my inquiries. My last effort was yesterday, June 5th, 2013. I “Googled” the phrase “get prospects to call back” and came across Colleen Francis’ website page showing the article “Stand Up and Stand Out! 12 Ways to Get Your Prospects to Call You Back” I read it and automatically fell in love with #5 and thought I would use it in an Email as one last attempt to get the prospect to respond. I sent that Email out at 4:05 PM June 5, 2013. I got a response from the prospect at 5:14 PM stating the reason he has not responded, (which, at this point, is all I was trying to do, was get a response) but he went on to say that they would be signing the contract and he was happy for my patience! WOW! It took me a little over an hour using Colleen’s #5 instruction. Just wanted to share that with you guys because I really was at a loss trying to get a response from a customer. Thank you for offering these quick tips. (Still blown away that it worked great and was soooo easy to do!)
