Our Six Weeks of Thanksgiving

Our team is back from Chicago and almost caught up on our sleep after a truly amazing week of sales transformations with the 50 sales professionals and business owners at the Sales Mastery event in Chicago. Those who came expected us to develop their 2011 sales plans for attracting clients, securing the business and retaining long term sales using our S.A.L.E.S. model so they could multiply their current results. Boy! Did we ever… each of them walked away with their entire sale plan and step-by-step action steps they’ll implement to get the results they thought was out of their reach, until now. (I love doing these.)


2010 Chicago Sales Mastery Workshop

What I love even more are the real life results that were shared. Like one attendee who increased business 86% over last year’s Sales Mastery and another who took their business from losing $40,000 to making over $30,000 profit in just 6 months. And now we are hearing that attendees have started to implement – some as quickly as Sunday night – with immediate success.

Thanks to everyone for taking a no excuses approach of incorporating new sales strategies into your work. And of course – a little fun along the way… Only by changing your approach will you change your results. As I said to you all in our last moments together on Saturday, Congratulations to everyone who attended! I am extremely proud of the work you did at the workshop and know that you will be rewarded richly for implementing your plans quickly.

At Engage we are lucky to be able to celebrate both Canadian and American Thanksgiving this year. In fact, the 6 weeks between the two holidays (Oct 12-Nov 25) is considered the “season of thanks” in our office and we spend time reflecting on our amazing community members (that is you!) clients and partners that allow us to continue to help them exceed in sales.

I know that you are all striving to want more. You want more sales, more customers and more profits. This year take some time to be thankful for what you have now. I encourage you to be thankful for the success in your life and thankful for everyone who contributes to your success now. That includes your customers. Be grateful that you are sales professional or a business owner. Honor your current customers and commit to showing them you care about their service with you. Success starts with being grateful for where you are now. Being happy now leads to more happiness in the future.
