  2. Good Question! There are many studies that show social proof increases trust and sales conversions. One of the biggest from Nielsen shows that 91% of consumers treat social proof as the #1 buying criteria.

    Studies from Yahoo and Nielsen also point out that somewhere between 30-78% of people don’t trust anything “corporate” on your website.

    If you combine these stats and implement social proof on your site we find that using testimonials gives you back the lions share of these “un-trusting” leads and converts them to prospects. I like to use the conservative numbers (30% vs 78%) to be safe!
