What “Iggy’s” loss can teach us about sales

In the Canadian Federal election last night Opposition leader Michael Ignatieff learned 3 tough sales lesson last night.

1) Never make a decision based on assumpotions.

2) Never assume you know what your prospects want.

3) Don’t offer alternatives until you know the client will agree to your suggestions.

He lost his job whereas you will lose a sale. Lose enough sales and you will also lose your job.
