For The Love of Sales

For me, it’s reassurance from my readers and clients. The feeling you get when you realize you’re making an impact on people is indescribable. Here’s a quick message I received in regards to a meeting request:

“Yes, let’s meet face to face for sure!  I might even ask for your autograph since, with how much I watch your amazing videos – you’re kinda like a sales training celebrity/hero to me”

Receiving messages like this is nothing short of an honor. When you’re doing what you love, and sharing it with the masses, receiving positive reinforcement (even when you don’t request any) is inevitable. ← Click To Tweet

It’s a constant reminder that the work we do allows people to better their lives. When we’re in sales with a focus on improving our client, and we succeed in doing so, we are truly positioning them to lead more successful careers and lives. We are fulfilling them and making them better people than they were before we started working with them or before they started studying our material.

Remember sellers, there will be failures, disappointments, stress, and frustrations. However, there is nothing more fulfilling than making a positive impact on someone. There is so much to love about selling and the sales world in general, but we tend to forget about some of them during our day-to-day hustles.

Focus on the positives of sales, and direct your attention to bettering your customers and you will be rewarded with the motivation to work as hard as you possibly can to achieve success!
