Garbage In, Garbage Stays
Bad data does not leave your pipeline. It follows you into your reporting, into your coaching, and into the decisions leadership makes about your year. Here is why clean pipeline data is a closing tool and not an admin chore.

As sellers, we need to take issue with the expression garbage in, garbage out. Because in our world, it is garbage in, garbage stays.
Garbage in your pipeline, garbage in your reporting, garbage in your notes. It all stays with you. It informs poor next steps. It provides poor coaching. It gets reported up past your boss and their boss into senior leadership, and then drives decisions that could be inaccurate, all based on the garbage in your pipeline.
So stop fooling yourself. The data in your pipeline needs to be clean so that it can help you close your business. It can provide accurate reporting. It can make sure you are not making decisions based on feeling, but on fact. And it gives you and your manager an opportunity for honest coaching, focused on exactly what you need right now in order to close more business.
