Don't Overcomplicate It! | Sales Tips
I’ve noticed something about sales managers, companies and even salespeople. They tend to overcomplicate the selling process. Could members of your sales team be falling victim to this trap?
There are only four things that you need to do in every single sales process, so keep it simple.
First of all, you have to explore. Explore if they're willing to continue using your product or explore if they're willing to try your product. Exploration is key to gathering the information you need to move forward. <--- Click to Tweet
We also need to present solutions and products that are in alignment with what the customer wants.
We have to influence them to buy our product, handle objections and handle questions.
And finally, we need to Close. You have to ask for the business. It's interesting how many salespeople forget this step and wonder why they aren't creating the sales they desire.
So, to summarize, you need to explore, present, influence and close. See how simple this is? To make it even easier to remember, just call this process EPIC! If you do those four steps well, you will always close enough business to create a nonstop sales boom.
