Well! You can sure tell its September. Sales teams are meeting with me from Grand Forks to Phoenix and even Winnipeg this month. And while I have been fortunate to work with some top notch sales people it’s also been exciting to: uncover a hidden Canadian gem like Canad Inns, try new food styles (I had my first Gluten-free, non-dairy, vegan lunch at Nourish in Scottsdale Arizona – it was delicious), and enjoy the comfort of a favourite haunt – Bliss Spa.
Isn’t that what travel and life are all about? Balancing what you already love with the excitement of fresh new experiences?
That’s exactly why selling rocks! Every day we get to work with well known clients, with familiar systems and in comfortable environments. At the same time the most successful are always eager to implement a new idea that will enhance their current results. Have you ever tried a new sales idea and had immediate success?
It’s a great feeling to implement something new that works to immediately improve your performance. We should all try it more often! This week while training a group in Phoenix, one super star member of the association, Zena, implemented an idea on social selling during our training session. At the end of the session she reported her initial success to me. I am sure that Zena will be rewarded for her quick implementation with profits by the end of the day! Success comes to those who implement new ideas regularly.
As you head into Q4 and take stock of your looming quota, be sure to implement something new. Today. Many of you have already taken the first step by submitting your most pressing questions and registering for our complimentary web class series, Race to the Finish: Achieving Your 2010 Sales Goals. I am excited that you will be joining us!
By the way it’s not too late. You can still register by clicking here: www.EngageSelling.com/race. You know the series will arm you with new strategies – and results!
Dedicated to increasing your sales,
P.S. A great big welcome to all our newest members and clients this week. It’s a great honour to be working with you. Thanks for being part of the Engage community.
