Sales Boom 2.0

I’m in London this week meeting clients and speaking at The Sales Innovation Expo on Wednesday. The theme of my talk will be my latest work on Nonstop Sales Boom.

Call it Sales Boom 2.0 – if you will. Here are some of the key points:

  • B2B and B2C are dead. Long live B2All.
  • Buyers don’t want exerts. They want peers.
  • Everyone in your company should be trained to be a profit centre.
  • Pay a good salary for on target performance and an accelerator for above target performance. Make hitting target a prerequisite of sellers keeping their jobs.
  • Internal mentoring programs are the key to sales acceleration.
  • Work towards 90% of your team hitting quota.
  • Buyers want facilitators not presenters.
